Wordhouse has provided first-class support for a number of organisations whose main remit is delivering training, including:

National Centre for Literacy & Numeracy/CfBT/DfES

Over 30 teacher training packs were developed by Wordhouse for the National Centre for Literacy and Numeracy on behalf of CfBT and the Department for Education and Skills. Wordhouse was commissioned to work with the Centre’s managers and authors, and staff in the Standards and Effectiveness Unit at the DfES, to prepare a wide range of teacher training and resource materials for teachers and managers in secondary schools.

The publications ranged from 300-page trainer’s packs to 30-page teacher resource booklets. Wordhouse managed the final editorial and pre-press development of the materials, and the production of prints runs ranging from 500 to 60,000, right through to delivery of bound copies to the DfES’s warehouses.

Echelon Learning Ltd

Wordhouse has commissioned corporate training and self-development materials for publication by Echelon, in print as well as via its website www.learningmatters.com.

On Echelon's behalf we have also worked on a number of projects developing bespoke learning materials for a range of clients – for example, CIPFA, CIIA, RTPI and the British International Freight Association.

Protocol Training

Our work for Protocol Training, a major operating division of one of the UK’s largest providers of education related services, involved the development from scratch of a series of distance learning and NVQ Level 2 workbooks with accompanying tutor and assessor guides. Wordhouse commissioned authors and managed the project through all stages of development and production, right through to delivery of bound copies to Protocol’s warehouse.
